Abstract

The Professional Learning Community (PLC) is a process of school improvement that requires its community to work collaboratively to improve student excellence. Therefore, the focus of the PLC focuses on a shift to cultivating the learning concept by providing opportunities for the school community to work in teams, prioritizing discussion, exchange of ideas and teaching and learning materials, identifying goals, vision, mission and then organizing action plans to achieve the goals set. This study aims to look at the barriers to the implementation of KPP practices among the community of teachers in the High Performing School. This study involved the collection and analysis of data through qualitative methods involving 402 teachers from 63 High Performing School, primary schools in Malaysia. The findings show that every SBT primary school has problems in terms of time constraints and dissatisfaction with the leadership of the ranks of administrators.
