DDR that is used in this study is a definite method in designing a new model of the children’s soul development. This paper will analyse the first phase of the study, which is the need analysis process and involves an assessment of 40 parents in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Research and development are the steps consist of need analysis, document analysis and design model. Need analysis were collected through questionnaires and interviews and the document analysis will be utilizing content analysis method on two well-known books of Ibn Sina on the Soul, which are al-Isharat wa Tanbihat and as-Shifa'.
