About the Journal

Jurnal Kepimpinan Pendidikan (JuPiDi) (e-ISSN: 2289-9669) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published quarterly in January, April, July, and October by the Department of Educational Management, Planning and Policy, Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya.

JuPiDi publishes original scholarly works in the fields of educational leadership, educational management, educational administration, educational policy, and related areas of education. The journal welcomes empirical research articles, conceptual papers, systematic literature reviews, critical reviews, and case studies that make a meaningful contribution to theory, policy, and practice in education.

The journal provides a scholarly platform for academics, researchers, policymakers, educational leaders, practitioners, and postgraduate scholars to exchange research findings, theoretical perspectives, and evidence-based practices relevant to schools, higher education institutions, and wider education systems. JuPiDi welcomes submissions in Bahasa Melayu and English.

The scope of JuPiDi includes, but is not limited to:

  • educational finance and financial management;

  • educational law and policy studies;
  • contemporary educational issues, including digital and financial literacy; and
  • interdisciplinary areas related to educational leadership, management, administration, and policy.

All manuscripts submitted to JuPiDi undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process. The journal is committed to maintaining academic quality, publication ethics, editorial independence, and scholarly integrity in accordance with internationally recognised standards of academic publishing.

Open Access Statement

JuPiDi is committed to open access publication and provides immediate online access to its published scholarly work. As a fully open-access journal, JuPiDi supports the dissemination of research in educational management, planning and policy to researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and the wider academic community.
