Abstract
The research was intended to investigate the e-collaborative learning in Bahasa Melayu KOMSAS subject via multimedia project-based. This is prior to the students’ low performance in monthly test due to the lack of variation in teaching and learning techniques for KOMSAS. The research design employed qualitative approach utilizing semi structured interview and document analysis. The findings indicated that e-collaborative learning strategy in Bahasa Melayu KOMSAS enabled students to interact and share opinions, provide better understanding, provide longer learning duration and flexible, increase students’ motivation and interest upon learning Bahasa Melayu KOMSAS, provide faster and more access to sources and references and predominantly increase students’ performance. The outcome of the research contributes in developing the teaching and learning strategy specifically in Bahasa Melayu literature.
