TAHAP PENERIMAAN GOOGLE JAMBOARD SEBAGAI ALAT DIGITAL DALAM E-PEMBELAJARAN: SATU KAJIAN

Abstract

E-learning is growing rapidly especially in higher learning institutions, either local institutions or abroad institutions. Progress in e-learning is related to emergence of new digital tools in education. Therefore, there are many digital tools that can be used through e-learning. Thus, this study aims to identify the level of acceptance of PISMP students towards Google Jamboard in teaching and learning. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as the basic model of this study. This study uses a quantitative approach through surveys using questionnaires, and qualitative through semi-structured interviews. A total of 76 respondents were involved in the survey study, while six respondents were involved in the interviews. This study focuses on four aspects of the acceptance of Google Jamboard as a digital tool namely fun, usefulness, usability and students’ attitude. Data analyzed by using descriptive, mean and standard deviation, as well as interviews. The findings show the mean value for the aspect of fun with the mean score of 4.78, usefulness with a mean value of 4.68, usability with the mean value of 4.60, and attitude with a mean value of 4.78. Meanwhile finding of the interview is matching and support the findings of the quantitative study. Respondents showed positive on the acceptance of Google Jamboard. In conclusion, the usage of Google Jamboard in e-learning showed a positive response and acceptable by students. Thus, Google Jamboard is suitable as a digital tool to enrich the methods of teaching and learning.
