UNIVERSITY STUDENTS' PERCEPTION TOWARDS DEVELOPED DICTATION STRATEGY FOR TEACHING HADITH IN YEMEN

Abstract

This study aims to illustrate the perception extent of undergraduate students on the developed diction strategy based on development and improvement in order to teach Hadith in university education . The research sample was chosen in an intentional way and was distributed to (95) undergraduate students in the fourth year majoring in Islamic education and Quranic sciences in three Yemeni universities. The descriptive survey method was utilized in this study in order to identify the investigated phenomenon and to identify strengths and weaknesses in order to ensure its validity. Results illustrated that there is an urgent need to use the developed diction strategy for hadith teaching in university education with a percentage of (76.6%), where the traditional method reduces the education quality, and the developed strategy is preferred to be used. The study outcome recommends a reconsideration of lecturers' preparation programs in general, Islamic education and Qur’anic sciences lecturers in particular for University education, learning outcomes of teaching methods courses, enriching the practical education subject with the course of developed teaching methods, as well as enrich and educate the lecturers of what the students or learners need in terms of developing and improving the delivery strategy, thus encouraging them to utilize initiatives and consider educational improvement methods according to the modern educational perspective.
