IMPAK TAHAP PENGETAHUAN KURIKULUM GURU TERHADAP PENCAPAIAN TAJWID AL-QURAN PELAJAR KKQ

Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of the level of knowledge of the curriculum of teachers on the achievement of students' Quran Tajweed learning in the Special Class of Reading and Memorizing al-Quran Skills (KKQ). A quantitative approach with a survey study design was used in this study. The selection of study subjects using whole population and group random sampling involved 43 teachers and 134 from four students of Religious Stream Class (KAA) in the Klang Valley. Data were obtained using two questionnaire instruments. Data validation was done by establishing an expert reference panel. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially to obtain frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, and correlation. The pilot study results showed that Cronbach's alpha reliability value was at a high level of> 0.80. Overall, KKQ teachers have a high level of curriculum knowledge. T-test analysis and ANOVA found no significant difference in the level of curriculum knowledge of KKQ teachers based on demographic factors. In contrast, the correlation between teachers' level of curriculum knowledge and student achievement found a significant relationship between the two variables. The implication is that the level of knowledge of KKQ teachers' curriculum in the lesson of tajwid al-Quran needs to be improved from time to time. Further research on the differences in the level of knowledge of the curriculum of KKQ teachers needs to be conducted, covering other demographic aspects. The findings of this study are also important as the authorities' consideration of handling any issues and planning related to KKQ.
